But Squirt, just think, you could BRAID your armpit hair! You could enter in X-treme Hobo competitions with braided armpit hair. And you'd get sponsorship from those toy-braiding machines in Target that come with free colourful clip-thingies.
And ickyness because grossness implies mucus and ickyness sounds less visceral, just a bit squirmy.

And Peter Jackson, because he gave us The Lord of the Rings! And he's hobbitty. And I'm not that impressed with Spielburg's latest blockbusters, nor were his ealier, 'classic' efforts ever a large part of my childhood. Nope, no nostalgia there.

Ribbons. Rosettes are nice too, but sometimes are a little too small for my lack of fine motor skills to cope with.
