Well although I don't like most of the formulated shlop that Hollywood churns out and describes as romance, I prefer it to Horror, because I'm one of those people who get freaked out just watching the trailers. Besides, really great romances like Amelie and Secretary make me absurdly happy.

Farseeking. It seems to be more easily controlled. Also it would be cool to clearly communicate with other people who have the talent. I think empathy would, in this society, pick up way too much pain and easing someone else's pain with the Talent has alway felt like a bit of an intrusion to me.

Car - I live in the country so trying to get anywhere by scooter would take WAY too long! Also, I'm not so sure about Hobb and Rowling, Robin Hobb is brilliant... *groans as brain overloads trying to choose one author*
