ah yes, the avatars. Some (including the one you selected) are hosted through obernewtyn.net. They'll come back on April 1st when our bandwidth allowance is reset. Another good reason to save your personal avatar to a photobucket account really *shrugs* *stops panicing* Avatar! That was the word i was trying to think of! Must be due to my lack of sleep... I'll have a look and see if i can find another pic |

well i just checked and it still doesn't work for me. it comes up with the 'dot' place  This is because of the whole bandwidth issue. The images for the boards were being hosted on www.obernewtyn.net and the site became so popular in March that there was a huge demand on the images and this put us over our bandwidth limit. As a result, the website is supsended until next month. Luckily, next month will start on Friday, so everything should be back to normal then! ;D |

Nasty webhosts! Can't they see that they're hosting a popular site?? They should extend the bandwidth limit!

Got a bit of a shock yesterday when I tried to get onto obernewtyn.net only to discover the whole thing had disappeared!
But a big thanks to Min and the other web tekkies (if they helped) for making it all work again.
Yep, Kayt, you're right about what do you do if there is no obernewtyn.net. I felt downright depressed.
