wow italian is so close to french in french what u wrote would be: ma matiere prefere est francais possibly with a le in front of the francais That's because French and Italian are both Italic languages with Latin as their parent language. ;D

...the only downside is that the teacher loves lud d**ned roleplays Ah, but roleplays are the best way to reinforce what you've learned of the language!

I once heard that italian is the closest language to Latin, then SPanish after that and then french. I was told it would be better to learn Spanish because you could easily switch to spanish or italian. Hmmm..... For all you french learners, do you have to watch the french sitcom extra? ? (The main characters are Nico, Sasha, Sam and I Annie) It is the WEIRDEST show!!!!!

Ah yes, Extra. I used to tape that when I worked in a secondary school library. Do you know they have Italian and French extras, too?

I can only remember some of the first verse now. When i was about six, i used to wander round the house singing it. I think you absorb more stuff when you're young

ah yes thats right! that would have been interesting. im sorry english has becoem so international, i think we should have to learn a second langauge if english is all we've got coz then you appreciate immigrants who haqve to learn english. anyway so many of us have had to learn a language and so many have stuck with it throughout high school which suprised me because my french class in 9-10 was 10 people and down to 6 in 11-12!

Bonjour Timm! Comment ca va?
Yeah, that's why there is alot of people who waste time and stuff around in our class (we have a very nice teacher tho)
Oh, I have come to loathe the dreaded Qu' est-ce tu as fait pendant the weekend? (what did you do on the weekend?) on a Monday morning though!! (everyone has to recite what they did)
Do any of you other people play Loto? (Very fun but VERY competitive)
