Hey Pat - could you try to modify your posts, rather than double-posting? Thank-you muchly. Alas, everyone is wrong and Turks's guess is still the closest. So look at what Turks guessed and try to think of things that are similar. People are right in guessing that this thing is used in an artistic sense, but you're not quite there yet.
