Right, well, by concensus we're removing Marija from the house, and I'm about to tally and average and stuff the riddle results, and then I'll tell you the answers.

There will be, however, a short delay since I just realised I'm missing a couple of riddles from Kayt, so I've PMed her and if I don't have a response within the amount of time I'm willing to wait (undetermined right now) I'll do some nifty maths and work out quite probably more averages then I have scores...

Well, Kayt's pulled out, so I have 6 scores and 5 averages to do...
As soon as I've done them, I'll let you know.

Right, the results are in. There are in fact 4 people up for nomination, because with this many averages (even though each person with an average was a different average to the last one) pretty much everyone gets about the same. Also there are only 6 possible numbers you can get.
I'll post the answers later.
Up for eviction: - Min - Tegan - Swallow - Dameon
Please PM me your vote. You only get one.

Right, the answers:
Riddle 1: There's a rule that medical practioners etc aren't allowed to operate on their own children. A man and his son are involved in a car crash and the man dies. The son is taken to hospital and when he gets into the theatre the doctor says "I can't operate on this boy, he is my son" How can this be? Answer: the doctor is his mother.
Riddle 2 A man looks at photo. He says "I have no brothers or sisters, but this man's father is my father's son" Who is the man in the photo? Answer: The photo is of his son
Riddle 3: Only one colour, but not one size, Stuck at the bottom, yet easily flies, Present in sun, but not in rain, Doing no harm, and feeling no pain. Answer: a shaddow
Riddle 4: As I was going to St Ives, I met a man with seven wives, Each wife had seven sacks, Each sack had seven cats, Each cat had seven kits: Kits, cats, sacks and wives, How many were going to St Ives? Answer: only one was going to St Ives (the person telling the riddle)
Riddle 5a Where does today, tomorrow and yesterday meet? Answer: at midnight. (Now, when whoever told me this I really wasn't awake, and then I posted it here but when I thought about it, this is the stupidest riddle ever which is why I didn't want people answering it. Although the answer someone (I think it was Min) gave is what I said to the person as well : after a lot of alcohol)
Riddle 5b Someone at a party introduces you to your mother's only sister's husband's sister in law. He has no brothers. What do you call this lady? Answer: You call this lady Mum / Mother etc etc
Riddle 5c Two planes take off at the same exact moment. They are flying across the Atlantic. One leaves New York and is flying to Paris at 500 miles per hour. The other leaves Paris and is flying to New York at only 450 miles per hour ( because of a strong head wind ). Which one will be closer to Paris when they meet? Answer: They meet the same distance from Paris. The one that's coming from New York has gone further and is closer to it's destination, but since they MEET they are the same distance from Paris.
;D;D;D;D;D
A few stats: - NatAlly was the only person to get 5 right! Well done! - No one got them all wrong - Riddle 4 was answered correctly by everyone who did it - Riddle 2 was answered the worst with only 2 people out of the 8 who attempted it getting it right. - Only 2 people tried riddle 5c (and one of them had already answered the other two 5s anyway)
Yay! Keep those votes rolling! Well done everyone!

Actually, I discovered some of the great moments of correcting riddles where I don't even have to understand what the person is trying to tell me, if I know it's wrong. Some of the family ones I was trying to get my mind around who they were trying to tell me it was for ages, before giving up since I knew it was wrong. It was quite funny... Cat No offence anyone!
