The only book I have read fully is the Fellowship of the Ring as I own it. I tried Two Towers but failed miserably. Just like the time I *tried* to read Pride and Prejeduce.

Huh? What did Aragorn do to Arwen? SHE chose to die, not him!! It wasn't his choice! Is that what you're talking about? Anyway, you distracted me - I was in the middle of a panic attack because I haven't seen it yet - I think I'll go and beg Dad to get it for me for Christmas some more...
I can't believe it's finally out!! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! ;D ;D ;D I take back all nasty comments...actually, no, i don't, they took WAY too long in getting it out!! BAH!!!
Pfft, well, I know what I'll be doing on Boxing Day... ;D

I'm pretty sure they are...it'd be really expensive though...
I love the Hobbit!! I read it to my youngest brothers a few months ago, they liked it even more than the LOTR movies, which I thought was pretty surprising...I wish they were going to make a movie of that too, it'd be sooo good!!!

Are you implying there's something about LOTR merchandise that I don't know?
It's the extended editions. All three. I swear.

You know, I had a crush on gandalf when I first read the books. Perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned that....

That's okay. I've said worse things in my time.
I think if Spot's Dad were human, he'd be hot.
Mari(j)a: Gee, thanks for taking the heat off, Kayt. No one will ever remember what I said now!

Gollum may be wierd, but the man who created him sure was a genius. Gollum is such a complex, imaginative character!!! In my opinion Gollum is Tolkien's greatest imaginative feat!!! And in the movies he was done perfectly...did they win an award for that, I wonder??

they did win an award for gollum in two towers, but i cant remember what award, though for those of you who own the extended version of two towers theres a hidden scene somewhere on the dvd that has the acceptance speech, I ORDRER YOU ALL TO GO FIND IT!!!! its hilarious, absolutely wonderful. im glad they didnt win the same award for rotk cos it wouldnt have been the same, as it only worked over video link... wishes she had a copy of the extended version of two towers so she could go find that scene and watch it again. its probably one of my fave lotr scenes (even though its not from the movie) though "gandalf which way is mordor, left or right" still takes the cake kayt, spots dad hot if he was human , maria... gandalf... i guess theres a lot of chicks who have things for sean connery so... OD, i think theyre talking in hotness, though gimli is an awesome character, his looks just dont cut it, unless youre a dwarven woman. i just thought of something, would gollum be one of the first mentally ill characters ever written?
