Guys, i have a friend who has signed up, but she's a bit nervous about posting for the first time. She's kinda scared of everyone. So, if some of you wouldn't mind PM her?? Tell her she's welcome and everything?? i know she's been floating about and looking at everything, but she just needs to post! And she's hesitant to believe that all of you are lovely people!! Either that or she's just reaaaaallly nervous! Her name's Solla, and i would be ever-so-grateful!! If it helps, she's a mad Rushton fan, i haven't been able to convince her otherwise.... So another to add to the ranks! Oh, and i think she's a Wanderer too...

i've PMed her as well:Dbut i'm afraid it might just scare her away even more...i DID try to be nice...  maybe she could just start off with reading what everyone's posting, just not saying anything herself...and when she gets used to the madness she can start to post a bit? just don't force her to do anything she doesnt want to do...make sure she's comfortable with it all first... |

i remember i was pretty nervous the first few times i posted here too, even though id been on the wandie boards for ages and stuff.
speaking of puppies, i saw a top the other day that said "i traded my boyfriend in for a puppy" i almost bought it except stupid needing to buy christmas presents, and paying off debt cos of my ex

I have joined the flood of PMs to Solla, the poor dear. It's always a little daunting when you first come across a group and don't know whether you're allowed to join in. I felt exactly the same way, all the way back in 2000, when I first joined Ober.net. Eventually, I plunged straight in and never looked back. |

i found the theories board through min's site and thats where i usually posted...i started posing on the members main and the dreambook and library and those boards only just before we moved over here...i cant remember whether i was nervous posting for the first time...i know i was when i posted at the wandie baord the first time tho...

:s I remember the first time I posted at ober.net, when we had the old boards, and when the Wandies page was still active. I was soo nervous, and I couldn't wait to be allocated to a guild, and then when I was, I didn't know if there was some special thing I had to do to be involved... And when I posted my theories I didnt know if I'd offend people by disagreeing with their theories. That passed soon though |
