its been a while since I read the books, but I think I prefer Ember, even though she frustrates me. She's so complex and such a diverse character it makes me like her more than Glynna.

I like Glynna better, I don't really know why, but I like Glynn.
Ember's character is prob more like me than Glynn's tho.

i prefer glynna...cos ember jsut plain annoys me! tho i do prefer ember in darkfall - where she isnt so mopy bout her illness...argh....they both give me the shirties tho!

I love glynna she was soo much more open i mean yes ember is sick but what does she do for ppl. she had Glynna worring over her didn't return anything then Bleyd who likes her a lot and she won't een let him touch her! i was like come'n girl get over it yes you might die but there is a good chance you can be healed and you have a guy who likes you so take a good look at him! That was my reasoning. Also she should say something if she doesn't like bleyd's affections.

Ember is really annoying if you ask me! Glynn is just nicer and more open with people.

I like both in different ways but I think I like Ember better. I don't know why coz I'm more like Glynna  I love the the little stories IC puts inbetween the main story and how they're all conected. My fav is the one where the little boy see's the Song being snuffed out in his family. I love that one! Luv Tammy |

i agree tammy! i love the one with the pigeons nad that little boy too! its soo sweet! u feel so much for those ppl! *sigh* tho i think everyone will likeember by the end of it... glynna is just ur obvious chose since she is the main character really

Ember is too wrapped up in herself for me. She infuriates me to the point of insanity. I think someone is going to have to give her an electric shock and then she'll FINALLY realise her feeling for Bleyd. HUZZAH!!!!!!!
Glynn is... really really cool. I mean, even though she is tone deaf she is totally "In-tune" with the Song! And she's sweet AND she's attracted THE CUTEST GUY IN THE WHOLE STORY!!!!!!!! I would like to pry Solen from her and introduce him to the ppl around here!!!

Glynna is a nicer person I think, in that she's so optimistic and thoughtful and self-sacrificing.
Ember seems more real though, with her introversion (and the reasons for it), and the way she treats Bleyd and then wonders why she's doing it...
I agree with what some people have said here - I like them both!

I identify more with Ember than with Glynn. Ember seems more real.
That's why I knew Glynn would win. I like Ember better, and I'm ALWAYS on the losing side!!!
