Right - well, didn't realise there was an Idol thread over here... really must get to the Dining Hall more often. So I started another one on Members Main. It has more choices, so go vote on it. Although you can't vote for Unykorn, so I can see how that makes it inferior. How much does the song that the idol's gonna sing SUCK?!!! I'm sorry for using such a, um, strong word, but it really does! Casey sang it better though Oh god, it does. But it was almost decent (almost) when Casey sang it, so at the moment I'm praying Casey wins just so that I don't have to hear Anthony's version of that song plastered over ever radio station. Seriously, I think if Casey wins, it'll be on preference votes. She'll get all her own fan-base votes, but I think she'll also get all the votes from people who just want someone genuine and left-of-centre, who were previously voting for Chanel or Courtney or someone (that would be me, incidentally). But Casey was fantastic Sunday night, even with the awful Idol winner song. And Anthony sang 'Walkin' Away', which I always detested, so if anything was needed to make me dislike him despite 'The Prayer', that was it.  blindmouse |
