point about his protectiveness, but if he was only a year younger than elf or something then it mightn't be so unusual for a little bro to be protective of his sister. i can only remember one time whe n my brother, who's only a year younger than me, was very protective of me, but still i could see it working. but if you found an actual age then thats fantastic!!
