I got an email from Miska telling me to put this on the forums, I'll update this as I get more news from her =)

hey hey hey all! hope all is well im having a blast in
scotland/north engalnd at the moment! we've bin following the snow
storms but havnt actually gotten stuck in the thick of it! we started
off in teeside, just outside of middlesbrough before moving across the
pennines towards the west and up to fort william in scottland on
monday. it seemed to snow and completely white out everytime we
stepped out of the car! but that made the driving easier! which u
really cant complain bout! we stayed monday nite in fort william and
hit loch ness, inverness, culloden and down to stirling on tuesday!
stayed the nite in stirling (wit a gorgeous ALD bar boy! 25 troy
madden ). did stirling castle wed mornin - which was a mix of
complete wite outs and sunshine!

saw striling castle which was awsome! muchly differnt from the castles
ive bin to - in that it is a town, not just a place of residence...
then we drove to edinbrough were im still situated. we did a bit of
window shoppin down princess street before heading out to the 'jolly
judge' pub for a few drinks. this turned into a lot of drinks when we
moved to gordans italian place for dinner the the turbo pub to watch
the football (man united vs AC milan)...by 10pm my unlce and i had had
the equivalent to 18 middies! :S no wonder i couldnt remember half of
it this morning! but all is good! memory went but no hangover!
today (thursday) we saw endibrough castle and the royal britania! both
really awsome and amasing! we had snow and rain again! but the
weather has improved - well slightly at least! now ive jsut had dinner
and a few drinks :s, should be heading into the turbo again (since its
across the rd from the hotel) to watch middlesbrough vs someone
...we'll do holyrood tomorrow and then head back to teeside, before
having dinner with the 'family'. hopefully ill see lucy on sunday!
(can i hear a woot woot!!!) then im off to frankfurt for 2days! ive
had a blast and really need to sit down and write in my journal...but
anyway! the most memorible thing is the fact that every place we have
dinner we are served by an aussie! gosh i feel more at home her ethen
i do in manly! *sigh* but i can see myself in a couple of yrs time
moving here! its awsome and soooo me! so if anyone
*coughcoughmarijacough* wants to do a trip wit me in 2007 please
please please do! there is no way im not coming back and soon!!!
anyway miss u all! and ill write (via duck! much gruggles) again soon

hey hey hey! just another update!

firstly i want to welcome any new mystics! thankx for joinin the best
guild and congrats to lix, marija and HOD for their guild
positions!!!! great work girls! other then that i hope everyone is
fine and everything is goin well! i miss u all and prob wont be on
line or on my phone for the rest of the trip. mum is down my back bout
how much time i spend on those 2 items -refusing to let me near a
computer except for uni stuff (which is giving me a headach! who would
thought findin out ur timetale would b so hard! ARGH!), and she yells
at me everytime i go near my phone saying 'its expensive. turn it
off'....i dont like travellin wit mum or my sis...and i think i has
bin evident over the last few days. in fact there has bin alot of
tention, but all is good. i guess i should leave that stuff for my
lj...sorry i just havent had a chance to type and im missing it!
before i do a quick recap - TIMMMMMMMMMM i watched my first episode of
TAR! lol romanian tv is all aussie shows wit the exception of some usa
ones it was episode 21 - where they end up in sydney at the
end....anywya i just had to mention that:P

ok so i cant remember where i left off. prob when i was in scottland.
which was tops! love it and am sooo goin back! but now im in romania
and thats an amusing story! first off we ment my sis in london and
grabed the flight to germany. despite german effeicence we were an hr
late! (silly British ariways flight in front of us at take off,
blockin the run way) mum and andrew were waiting for us in frankfurt
and like usual there was a 'fight' for talk ot mum time and catch up!
tell our stories and what not. we headed in our huge 8seater to bad
homburg. if any of u no germany -great little town!!! just outside of
franfurt on the south side...dont quote me there! actually i have no
idea on the direction :S we stayed there running round town at 1130pm
tryin to find somewhere to eat. everything was closed except the
chinese place at the hotel. it ended up being the nicest chinese ever!
and the lady said she recognised us, tho thats really doughtful :S
anyway the food was just really differnt. the next day we headed south
eastish to heildburg, but fist headed further down to the black
forest. we wondered round the town there and to hte leather factory
outlet! got my self a really ncie jacket:), had lunch after my bro and
uncle had a snowball fight! (its like minus 4 max!!! so plenty of
snow and ice! fun tho!) cant remember the town name tho. we then
headed to heildburg castle and saw it at sunset! very very pretty. but
we couldnt see the inside cos there was an event on. we had dinner
there then went home. everyone was fallin asleep.

wed was spent wit a long breaky and wondering round bad homburg. we
then headed to oberusel which is where we lived for 2-3 yrs. we saw
our old house, the fields we used to play in (had another snow fight),
our old schools, toy store (which i wish i picked up a cute rat stuff
toy! but got a pillow wit a donkey saying 'nobodys perfect!') and our
favourate italian restuarnt! which the ppl remembered us! woooooooot!
guess mum hasnt changed that much and the guy used to be in love wit
my grandma, so we ate there like every day -either lunch or dinner! it
was really really really cool! the towns changed sooo much tho - so
muhc more development but still our 'usual' spots were the same! we
then played in the forest (my brother running into trees to make the
snow fall - the forests where so thick, dense and covered in snow it
was white wit black strips from teh truncks) before heading to the
airoport where we waited for 4hrs. form there the flight wasw 2.25hrs
and we arrived in bucuresti at 1130pm. the flight dropped u off in the
middle of no where so we had to get a bus ot the termindal. i think
most european domestic flights do that. however this is where the nite
got really interesting! we walked dow n the stiars and bingo there was
a guy wit a sigh containing our names! we got our own special bus to
the terminal and completely bi-passed costoms!!!!!! OMG! it was like
superstar service!!! even luckier was the fact our luggage got off
first!!! so we jumped in the car with our good family friend george
and headed to his place in like less then 20min! which is amasing for
a developing country! one that took us 5weeks to get visas for! argh!
wat a headach that was...ppl on my lj or duck and marija would no bout
that! it was a nightmare generating most of the stress for me. anyway
we get here and george (being on ex-pact poilcy) has a mantion wit his
own maids, drivers, u name it! it s luxury! and im loving it:P today
was our first day here and it was a realx day! much needed since i
think we all lacked sleep. however ive got 2hrs left b4 we head off to
the thearter....traditional romanian style, but its a
surprise...anyway im excited. part from the 'super star' feel this
place is really interesting! the archietechture (sp?) is just wow! u
can see sooooo many different styles dictating historic periods. its
really hard to explain, but has yugoslave, french and to me a little
asian influence. uncle said (cos i couldnt see ot the frount while we
were driving thru the city last nite) the wide streets and old
buildings mixed with new makes it really romantic! most of it isnt too
well looked after but its a place u can tell there is so much untold
history! we're hitting the town to check it out tomorrow, then heading
up to valds castle (origianl dracula for ppl who dont no! but im sure
u all do! ill tell some of the actual facts when iget back if ppl are
interested) and the such on the out skirts. george has so much planned
for us it doesnt look like we'll get to belgrade, much to our
dissapointment! but all the same i think we've all reaslied there is
to muhc here for 10days & we'll have to come bacK!

anywya thats really long! so sorry bout that! and i hope i havent
bored anyone! ill deffinately keep in touch and cant wait to speak to
u all when i get back! hope all is well!!!!!!!! *grugs*choco*
