kayt did you ever finish that, if you did email it to me, that was so cool, but wasnt there a 2nd purpose to the quest. or is this a different story to quests cliches and conciousness? that was great, however something similar has been published and i think is actually used as a philosophy text book, its called sophies world and its awesome. has anyone read it
about drunk pets somewhere around my place is a video of my brothers old dog as a puppy with a can of beer between its paws lying on its back. IT WASNT ME. but it was very cute

Oh oh, re the whole cat thing... I'm a total cat person! The following is a true story, a bit long but worth the read!... My mum works at a school, and i am often there helping or waiting for a lift home. So one day we see these 3 kittens in the drain. I couldn't leave them so i brought some food and started dropping bits down the drain for them (they were ferel and wouldn't come near me). So after a week of doing the food drop, i had started leaving food just outside the drain trying to catch them, cause i couldn't just leave them. After lying for about 30 mins over the drain, I caught one but she went psycho and scratched me real bad i threw her into the car, but she hid and my mum (also a cat lover) freaked out and said that we should call someone cause we couldn't do it and made me let her go. I had to get a tetnus injetion for nothing. So the next day, mum rings the rspca, they tell her that thier resources are stretched and they will only come for stray dogs. We rang the council, as they are supposed to come for companion animals, but they said they would only come for dogs. So she rings the cat protection society and they tell her that they will come in 3 weeks, but they will put them down as soon as they catch them. How could you put down an inocent baby, that is only there as a result of humans?(we saw the mother, and think someone dumped her when she was pregnent) So then we rang the cat defense society, they wouldn't come and get them but they would take them and not put them down. So we borrowed one of their cages, and the next day i caught Buddy. He was so gorgeous. We took him up to a lady who will keep him forever if she can't socialise him and find him a home. 1 week later i caught Buster and i took him to the same lady. Now keep in mind that every day from the first kitten sighting i would spend in excess of 1 hour at the drains, always leaving them food and trying to get them. All the teachers and my friends thought i ws mad! So, i keep leaving food down the drain but one night it rains and the next day, the drain is flooded. A few days later when i come in the morning, the food hasn't gone. For 3 weeks we left food but i never saw the last kitten and thought she must have left due to the rain, or died. I mean they were all undernourished and she was the shyest of all and really depended upon her brothers. She was all alone. One afternoon we were going to the car to come home and i saw her back at the drain. I made mum wait in the car and i set up the trap. We waited for over an hour in the car, lying flat down so she wouldn't see us, and we caught Mindy. She had to spend 2 nights at our place cause the lady who was to take her was busy. So we took her and shed tears as we made our goodbyes. Anywho, that night my Dad relented and said we could have her (which was prety amaxing as we have 2 naughty indoor boys already) Mindy has made such progerss and we touch her and play with her, we have only had her for a week and 4 days. She sleeps on my bed. She is still a bit scared at times but the progress is amazing! My cat's nose is severly out of joint cause he is "Mummy's boy", the other cat is ok with her. We send food up every month for Buddy and Buster and are still trying to get the Mum. I still can't believe that noone would come to get them, and that they were only going to be put down.
So did the story just melat your heart?

oh thats so sad. kittens are such precious creatures!
my sister used to live i an appartment and had two cats already. one day she'd left the blacony door open and as they werent that hugh off the ground the kitties would come and go as they liked. one day a stary kitty came in and helped herself to their food. this kept happening til eventually they deiced to keep her. she was supposed to be my cat. but i was very busy with uni at the time so i couldnt take her just yet. then the stary got fatter and fatter, and they took her to the vet.
she was pregnant. the little darling gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens including my darling izzy!
ill try and find a pic of her i can throw in her, give me a tic
