Dont you just hate it? it seems like the hols will last fior ever and then u realise u only have a week left and its its you like a train. Then its 4 days and then 2 and then u find yourself dreading that tommorrow you will be on the damon bus again!

I have a 1 and a half hour bus trip. I go to a school outside my zoning and i am the first stop in the morning and there is not one other girl from my year onb the bus. It is like toture... u can be sure that ober has been on many a bus trip...

I went back to school last Tuesday, after 2 months holiday
I am in year 9 this year, but QLD has a different education system to Australia. So I would be in year 8 in Vic.

Yeah, i'm going into year 10. Well, since I've had an orientation day and just finished typing up my timetable, I guess I am in year 10...
I START PSYCHOLOGY TOMORROW! I only have 1 day off from this, Tuesday Week B. (Except Friday Week A is day program so we don't have any 'classes' we do other stuff like prepare for VCE, work with our buddies etc etc. It still is a class but it's more life skills than like learning all the continents or whatever) We only do two electives in year 10 (and we did 8 in year 9) but they encorporate more than one subject. I'm doing Psychology this semester and Media/IT next semester...
Now, returning to the holiday homework, I can't remember what i'm sposed to do with this sheet I got for Chinese... THe first two sheets have characters and you have to writing the pinyin (romanised chinese, it's like a guide on how to pronounce it) and the meaning. But the third sheet is just the blank squares and I can't remember what we're sposed to write in them...

Poor u have to work hard with all that HSC stuff. was the school certificate hard? Um, I'm not quite sure what you mean. As far as I know I haven't done school certificate. I'm doing NCEA Level 1 (National Certificate of Educational Acheivement) this year. I have mini exams every few weeks!  |

I believe Miky might come from a state (possible ACT... unless he's English. If he's English I know what he's talking about. If not I'm guessing the ACT...) where they end high school at year 10 and (from his post, i know in England they have this and if he's from somewhere else I guess they may have it too) they complete a School Certificate. In the ACT they go onto College, which is year 11 and 12, and is at a different school.

We do school certificate at the end of year 10 in NSW. It's like this major test thing to say that yes, you're educated enough to be able to leave school after year 10, i think

Yeah, I am in and from New Zealand.
I did end of year exams for English, Maths, Science, Social studies and Latin in year 9 and 10 but they don't really mean anything, it's just a good idea to do well in them for some unknown reason.
Also, I've had idea for a thread; homework help.
What do you think?

i dont sound masculine? anywho yeah i am from nsw, newcastle area to be specific.
We started today.. shudders.... I hate it already. Somehow I got all the crap teachers and all, never get the good ones, and I have hardley any friends in my class. hmmm being called a boy and bad classes... whats next an asteroid hitting me?
*sees asteroid coming towards HER and thinks of the irony |
