So... I'd say we probably represent at least pretty close to Australian Idol's target audience. So if it was just up to us, would it be Casey or Anthony?

well casey is winning in the dinning hall thread....i think it should b anthony cos he's so pop material and casy is actually cool! but meh...i dont quiet agree with it all

I love Casey. That girl can really sing. She has a few hiccups every now and then, but presumably she is still able to learn more about her chosen craft. She's only sixteen after all - and she's already fantastic!  Anthony = Mr Bland. Blah. |

Lix, I so agree. I almost cried when Chanel was voted off. She was the best.
But with the final 2, I love Casey, but anthony is going to win because 98% of all Idol watchers are female and therefore anthony will have a bigger contingent of supporters.
Well, we'll find out tonight.

i think that anthony is gonna win but casey is by far the better...who cares if she forgot the words a couple of times? she always recovers beautifully...AND SHE SUNG MY SONG!!!! so there is no doubt in my mind - casey is the best:D:D:D

can i brag???
i went to uni with Marty. we were doing different courses but we lived in the same building. he is such a sweetheart and so talented. my friends and i were like his groupies. he had a covers band that played regularly in town and they were great (normally i hate covers bands). it was so weird to watch someone you know performing on live TV each week. very bizarre!!!
anthony will win it because all the little girls love him but casey has the better voice and is a much better performer. anthony is so young talent time! casey draws you into a song and that is real talent, expressing yourself so well, esp. through someone else's lyrics!
go casey!!!!

a covers band is a band that doesn't sing original songs...just ones that have been sung by other artists and stuff

yeah arien i'm pretty sure thats right - except don't covers bands only sing the songs of ONE artist? like there are groups around that sing kylie songs or abba songs..i'm not sure tho. and mysterykat - wow!! lucky thing you!! i loved marty, he had the most unusual voice...he was great!!

Nah, cover bands don't have to just do one artists/group's songs. Pub bands, for example, and whatnot are usually cover bands, and do all sorts of stuff.
